Letter To The Editor: Just Getting Started: Library Celebrates Director’s First Anniversary and Accomplishments – Bristow Library

Graphic Credit: City Of Bristow

Our new librarian is making a huge difference in our Bristow community and really needs to be celebrated. The city just cut nearly $1,000 from our $12k budget per YEAR and Heather Hutto is still making great things happen. She’s brought in Americorps, multiple grants, state aid funding increases (which our Mayor is blocking), and in August, can now boast of the highest circulation record EVER for our library.

Please help me raise a glass to a true public servant, Mrs. Hutto.

Please read her post on the library’s website for more details and statistics. It’s absolutely beautiful.

Thank you!
