Norman, Ok April 13 2022 (The Oklahoma Post)-
This Thursday, April 14, is OU Giving Day! Our annual 24-hour fundraising event brings together the entire OU family – faculty, staff, students, corporate and foundation partners, alumni and friends – to support students, departments, programs and groundbreaking research by making a gift to the areas of campus that are the most meaningful to each of us. OU Giving Day honors the generosity of the OU community, raises awareness of the great power of giving and aims to inspire everyone with the possibilities that can be achieved. Your gift to the Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences can make a remarkable difference for our students, faculty and programs. As OU’s oldest and largest college, we teach every student at OU, offer 55% of all academic credits in OU Norman campus programs and nearly half of the full-time instructional faculty at the university are in our college. Over the years, our college has experienced significant growth and we currently serve more than 10,000 majors. Our mission in the college is to master existing knowledge, create new knowledge and put that knowledge to work to improve society locally, regionally, nationally and across the globe. This goal requires that faculty, graduate and undergraduate students have equally outstanding opportunities to discover, create and innovate. Your gift helps us to fulfill that goal. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
On behalf of the college, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to all those in our college community. Your generosity is helping the next generation of OU students realize their limitless potential to serve and enrich our communities in the future.
