Services For Captain William Hargraves

Ponca City, Ok August, 24 (The Oklahoma Post)-

The Osage County Sheriff’s Office announced funeral services for Captain Willy Hargraves. The dedicated public servant also acted as Chief of the Osage Cove Fire District Association and according to the county public announcement, Hargraves will be receiving both Law Enforcement as well as Firefighter Honor Services. Mr. Hargraves served his community with honor and will be missed by many.

Public Viewing will be held Thursday, August 25th from 1 pm until 6 pm at Trout Funeral Home located at 505 W Grand Avenue, Ponca City, OK.

Funeral Services will be held at the Ponca City Public Schools Concert Hall located at 927 N 5th in Ponca City, OK on Friday, August 26th at 1 pm.

Internment and graveside Honor Services will be held at Kaw City Grand View Cemetery located at SH-11 and Grandview Drive in Kaw City immediately following funeral services.

Captain Hargraves was killed in a vehicle accident on Friday while on his way to work. A 14-year-old is alleged to have been driving the vehicle while the mother of the child was in the passenger seat.

The Osage County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s show of support for the family by donating to local fundraisers to help with expenses. For more information visit the Osage County Sheriff’s Facebook page. Donated money will go directly to the Hargraves family.
