The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has arrested an assistant district attorney of Payne County on child pornography charges. Etherington is no stranger to disregarding the law and abusing his power as he has been charged in the past with crimes following his rocky breakup with Oklahoma County DA Ms. Aaron Etherington. Their divorce which began in 2015 is still not finalized with custody.

“11-01-2021 JUDGE HAFAR: TRIAL & CITATATION TRIAL – PARTIES APPEAR THROUGH COUNSEL, MIKE TREVINO AND JOAN LOPEZ, WITH GUARDIAN AD LITEM LINDSEY ANDREWS. STRICKEN FOR FAILURE TO SETTLE OR BRING TO THE BENCH FOR TRIAL. A COURT MINUTE WAS NOT PRESENTED.”

On Sept. 1, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children forwarded fourteen cybertips, linked to a single suspect, to the OSBI Internet Crimes Against Children unit. The investigation identified Kevin Etherington as a possible suspect related to the tips. According to insiders the information and investigation by NCMEC prior to OSBI arrest was rock solid.

Monday, OSBI ICAC Agents executed a search warrant at Etherington’s Stillwater residence. Etherington was taken into custody and transported to the Payne County Jail. Etherington is the First Assistant District Attorney for Payne and Logan Counties and heavily involved with child welfare cases. No bond or release date is listed with Etheringtons booking.

Some political insiders are calling this further evidence of Stillwater Police and Payne County Judicial corruption, as claims have been made recently to The Oklahoma Post that Stillwater Police have used false child pornography and drug accusations in the past against unwitting citizens, cases in which Etherington, a former Police SPD Officer turned attorney would have been the lead prosecutor in the cases.

For months the State Courts in combination with DA Laura Thomas, Stillwater Mayor Will Joyce, and Stillwater City Manager Norm McNickle have covered up the perjury and corruption of the Payne County Courts, the DA office and SPD officers. Some have been accused of Under The Color of Law crimes, perjury and neglect but the State AG has yet to bring charges.
