What a great start to the #NASCAR season! This exhibition race took us back in time to the legendary Bowman Gray Stadium, aka The Madhouse—an iconic 0.25-mile track that hadn’t hosted a race since 1971.
Built in 1937 as part of the New Deal’s WPA (Works Progress Administration), Bowman Gray is a true piece of racing history. The tight, quarter-mile bullring delivered non-stop action, proving that old-school short tracks still have what it takes to thrill fans.
If you haven’t been keeping up with NASCAR, this was the perfect reminder of why we love this sport—intense, gritty, and full of heart.
